Green beans and French beans home-grown in Morocco.
The first Moroccan green beans and French beans home-grown under our own brand Carlo are available again at Fresh2You in Barendrecht. Our own brand is a nod to Karel van Oers, often called Carlo in Africa and who, by growing beans, is going back to his roots again.
Fresh2You has stationed a number of people in Agadir in Morocco who take care of the cultivation process and rents a modern packing centre. By offering home-grown produce, we are confident to guarantee our customers that continuity.”
Following the Moroccan green bean season that runs until the end of the year, Fresh2You is currently finalising a packing centre in Senegal, so that the season can be supplemented with its own beans from Senegalese soil from mid-December to mid-April.” We do not aim to be the largest, but mainly want to serve our customers well”, Corné Roks explains.
